Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the entire front desk team work with a sales focused attitude and are aware of sales opportunities within the hotel which will assist with the maximization of revenue
• To deliver loyalty program benefits and promote enrollment of RediStay members
• Training of Team members
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the unit, leading and mentoring staff
• Provide input in hiring decisions and performance of workgroup
• Work closely with others in department to identify and correct problems and make recommendations to remedy problems
• May act as supervisor in supervisor’s absence

Qualifications:

• Must follow company, brand, and property guidelines and hold front desk staff accountable to uphold such guidelines and standards
• Supervise front desk agents, ensuring the correct sequence of events for proper registration, check in and checkout of guests
• Provide training and support to front desk agents
• Knowledge of RediStay, Synxis, or other world Class Property Management System is required
• Knowledge and understanding of computer systems such as Microsoft, Google, etc.
• Familiarity and experience with Online Travel Agencies, social media websites, Medallia or another review tracking software.
• Familiarity with general hotel procedures and front office management.
• May be assigned other duties by the Hotel General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Provide coverage of Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Houseman & Laundry when directed by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
